Hi Everyone
Looking for advice on my case -
We (I and my wife) filed for 485/EAD/AP on July 27 2007. We received all documents (receipt#, AP, FP etc) except EAD for my wife. The case status online shows her EAD application was received and pending. So on Jan 24th we put a Service Request for her EAD application. Yesterday we received a letter from USCIS with the following information --


The status ofthis service request is:
WAC-XX-XXX-XXXXX

Your 1-765 application was administratively closed on 0112912008.

If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.


If anyone has similar experience or know why they would close a case without giving any information or RFE/NOID etc? I tried calling them but the IO couldn't provide any further info.

I was working for company A in US till June 2008. I had to return to India in July 2008 due to personal reasons. My 6th yr on H1b expired in October 2008.

I am now in India and applying for 3yrs H1b extension based on my approved I140 with company B. My I485 was filed in august 2007. I do not have US pay stubs since July 2008 as I did not work in US.

Has anybody been in a similar situation? What are the chances of getting approval? Once I get I797 approval, should I expect further challenges in getting visa stamped in India?

I am currently working for Company A and would like to join company B on EAD. I have a valid EAD and would use it to switch over.

My question is

1. what document's are needed to send to USCIS for AC 21 for/from company B.
2. Do I need to send any documents?

Hello,
We have our 485 interview's next week @ the Baltimore Field Office. My PD is current for EB-2. My case is pretty straightforward so hopefully should not be a issue.
Would appreciate any comments from folks in MD who have been interviewed @ the Fallon Federal Building in downtown.

Particularly - can they approve our cases right there & then.? Will they stamp our passports for approval since PD is current for January 2011.? Can there be any issued with visa number not available, etc. ?

Any advice is appreciated.

Illegal non-immigrants did the rally to local USCIS offices. It would be good if we pick one day in 2nd week of July and have a rally to local USCIS offices. This will immediately catch the media attention.

Rally news should be spread out to media so we can get enough coverage?

My I-485 is pending with EB3 Feb 2006 priority date. Invoked AC21 and currently working for a different employer. Have Masters degree and 9+ years of experience.

Is there a way to re-apply for Green Card under EB2 category thru a 3rd employer and retain the old EB3 priority date?

We have filed an I-130 for our dependant child of my husband who is currently an alien resident. We are trying to figure out how to get a work authorization form started for our son as well as he is old enough to work. We can not figure out how to answer his eligibility catagory. Is there anyone whose I485 is pending for more than 90 days. My I-485 was sent on July 18th. I called USCIS twice and they are asking me to call them on Oct 17th (when 90 days is completed). They are saying that my appl.n should be in by then. Is there any one whose checks got cleared after 90 days. If not, what did you do about it.

Hi,
My husband was had complete his MS from US and moved to H1 , recently went to India for and his H1 visa is rejected. I am on L1 so now he got his L2 visa approved.

I wish to know the following -
In order to start working as soon as possible what all options he has.
I long will L2 EAD will take?
Can he switch back to is orginal H1 once he come back to US? or he has to apply new H1.
Can he apply for both H1 and EAD. If so which one will be taken in to consideration if both are approved?

Please give you expert advice on what to do next.

Hi Guru's,

I am currently in INDIA and applying for my H1. I have a couple of questions regarding this:
Back Ground:

1. My husband and myself are applying for H1 B.
2. Company A is sponsoring H1 for my husband and company B is applying for H1 for me.

Q & A:

1. As H1 B is lottery system this time too, we both are applying for H1. Is it possible that, if both of us get H1's, can I still enter into US on H4 status and later convert to H1.

Your valuable suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Only when you get an RFE, do you have to provide employment verification letters etc.
